4. For the purpose of this guide, I’ll be referring to NPCs, locations, items, etc., by their English names, which are present in the English patch recently created for this game. The higher your initial level is, the better, obviously, but anything from level 20 onward is ok. Also, you should have preferably already upgraded your main stats at the dojo to at least level 15 to speed things up.

6. Also, directions in this guide work for every difficulty. The difference will be your stats and probably the strats for the boss fights and harder encounters on the main story.

8. Weapons are generally not recommended in this run, since your punches, kicks, grabs and special moves will do more damage anyway.

17. Chapter  1

20. Skip the cutscene with start, then mash through text with O. When the map opens, press X three times. Then walk forward and mash through more text with O. Walk forward again and mash through text with O again. Choose the first option and mash O.

22. Skip the scene before fighting and select “No” for the “Do the battle tutorial?” question. Punch the guy until he’s defeated. Mash O again and X when the item screen appears. Mash O. Go forward until two guys stop you, then mash O and select “No” for the “Do the battle tutorial?” question again. Punch both guys or grab, then headbutt them.

24. Mash O, then X on the item screen to not grab the item. Follow the map to your objective, then skip the cutscene with start and mash O. Press X and try to get back through the path you came. Mash O, mash O, defeat the guys. Mash O. Follow your objective on the minimap.

26. Skip the cutscene. Mash O. Mash O again and press X three times to get out of the phone screen.

29. Talk to the guy in a pink suit and enter the door behind you, mash O, the get out of the room. Talk to the guy at the end of the corridor. Go to the treatment room, then skip cutscene. Get out of the room, then go back to the locker room. Mash O. Defeat three guys. Mash O and get out the room and follow till the end of the corridor to leave this building. Follow the objective, then, at the corner of Tenkaichi Street, beat the guys. Follow your objective, then escape the Yakuza thugs by going north till the end of the street and going right to Millenium Tower. Mash O.

31. Try to get out of the room, then mash O while Saki talks to you. Reject the item with X. Go back to the locker room, then mash O and select first option, then mash O and press start.

37. Defeat him by grabbing, then headbutting him repeatedly. When the cutscene with an aura towards him happens, hold L to defend against all his attacks, rinse and repeat.  If the X prompt appears when you grab him, use it.

Get out of the building and talk to the old man. Go to the back of the park and press O when your hear a meow, then press O again when your hear it for the second time.

47. Go back to the old guy and mash O, then, at the next scene, mash O again. Follow your objective on the minimap. Press start, then defeat the thugs. Press start. Go back to Jewel and talk to the guy with a blue icon above his head. Press start. Mash O, give a single step forward, mash O and follow your objective. Select first option to go to Kuki’s office. Go to his room and walk towards him. Mash O, go towards Kuki, press start, mash O. Go back to your room and select first option. Go back to locker's room, talk to Saki, mash O, selecf first option, mash O, press start and fight Hyuga.

52. Grab, headbutt and kick him on the floor. Run around the octogon to avoid his attacks when his second phase starts. Rinse and repeat. If the X prompt appears when you grab him, use it. Press start. Save (or don't save).

56. Press start and mash O. Go to the closest Poppo Store (follow south). Talk to the guy and go back to Millennium Tower. Beat the guy, press start, mash O. Follow your objective, get close to the guy with a blue icon on the crowd, mash O, select first option, mash O. Defeat the guys. Reject the Tauriner+ you'll get. Mash O. Select first option.

58. Press select, press O and mash the wrong inputs on purpose to fill the tension bar and finish the minigame. Press O twice. Mash O. Go south and defeat the guys. Mash O.
59. Escape the cops by going left, down, right, down, right, down all the way till the end of the street. Mash O. Press start, mash O. Buy a Shoyu Ramen on the Poppo Store and a Makunouchi Bento (it’s the seventh item on the list, which costs 600). Follow your objective.
60. Press start and mash O. Follow your objective. Mash O. Go back to locker's room and talk to Saki. Mash O, select first option, mash O, press start and fight Koryou.
61. Boss 3
62. Grab, headbutt and kick him on the floor. Run around to avoid his attacks in second phase and repeat. If the X prompt appears when you grab him, use it. Press start, then save (or don't).

66. Press start. Mash O, go to Don Quijote (your objective). Mash O in all the following scenes with Saki. Press start. Escape the cops by going left, up all the way to Shichifuku Street, then left. Press start and defeat the waves of thugs. Keep the X prompt to use against the last guy (the one with dark glasses and black hair).
67. Press start, mash O. Escape the cops by going left, down, left all the way through Shichifuku Street. Don't ever take another direction until you get to Children's Park. Mash O. Follow your objective on the map. Mash O when you get home.
68. Talk to the two girls south of you. Go to Tenkaichi Street, go close to the Gelateria (it's very close to Kuki's building, you just neee to go left from there, then up when you get to the corner). You'll see NPCs in front a cllse restaurant up, go there, talk to the NPCs, defeat the guy, mash O and follow the objective in your map.
69. Talk to the guys, follow your objective on the map (Club Sega at Theather Plaza). Talk to the guy buy with an icon above his head (DON'T PLAY THE GAME!). Follow the objective in your map.
70. Talk to the guy, select first option, press select and do the minigame. Pay attention to the shadow velow the toy you're aiming. Get a SOFT toy, NOT any toy. Use the analog stick and O to move. Press O to go down and keep it pressed till the end. Keep trying till you get it. After the congratulations message, choose the second option.

72. IMPORTANT: Accept the toy in your inventory, even if you have to dispose of something else. Just don't dispose of the two foods you bought at the Poppo Store. Follow the objective in your map. Press start when you get there.

74. Escape the cops by going left, down all the way till the end of Tenkaichi Street, right all the way, up to Nakamichi Street, then follow your objective. Press start, mash O. Follow your objective in the map. Go straight to locker's room, talk to Saki, choose first option, mash O, press start, then fight the next boss.

85. at the corner of the street, almost in front of you. Go back through Taihei Street (West) and up to Theather Plaza (Rear). Talk to the old guy with a green icon above his head, mash O to give him the Makunouchi Bento.

87. Go up and right, cross the Theather Plaza and look for an old guy that's sitting on the floor. Mash O while talking to him, go up to Shichifuku Street, go left all the way to Children's Park. Talk first to a girl with a green icon above her head at the corner of the street, then go talk to the guy in Children's Park (in front of you), go back to the girl, then go back to the guy. Choose first option, mash O. Press start. Mash O.

Go to the closest Poppo Store, buy Nikko Sports, mash O, go to Kuki Family Office, talk to Kuki, press start, mash O, talk to the guy in front of you, don't go back to Kuki's Family Office, talk to him again, mash O, cross the corner of the street to the side that go to Millenium Tower, talk to the guys in front of Pronto, talk to the guy in front of the white car close to Millenium Tower, talk to the guy in front of Millenium Tower.

Talk to all the NPCs with a green icon abover their heads, EXCEPT the guy with a pink shirt in front of the hostess club where you did that minigame before. Then go talk to the new NPC that appears with a green icon above his head. Mash O, press start. Mash O, follow the objective in your map. Go to your rest room, mash O, press start. Follow the objective in your map.

120. Press start, mash O a lot. Talk to the couple close to you. Go to Senryo Street. Talk to the guy with a white shirt in the south of this street. Go to Don Quijote in Nakamichi Street. Talk to the guy in front of Don Quijote, mash O, go to Tenkaichi Street, talk to a girl with a green icon above her head in the south of the street, then go close to the Poppo Store in the same street as Don Quijote (the one in front a save point). Talk to the guys sitting on the floor next to the store, then mash O. Mash O again through Tenma's call.

It's on Park Boulevard, in one of the streets above Shichifuku Street. Talk to a guy in a dark red suit. Mash O through Saki's call. Go to Don Quijote.

144. Talk to Saki. Mash through text in all of her scenes, then go to the Gelateria in Tenkaichi Street. Mash O, defeat the guy, go back to Saki in treatment room, choose first option, mash O, then try to leave the building and mash O through Cho's call. Leave the building. Follow the objective in your map. Be VERY careful about the cops now, try to go to your objective through the street that is at the side of Millenium Tower, by going up. Then be careful about the cops and get to Champion District. Mash O, defeat the guy, then talk to the woman in a pink kimono.

Mash O, follow the objective in your map and don't get caught by a cop. Follow the objective in your map. Talk to Cho and DON'T APROACH the guys behind him if you're playing with english patch, because it will crash PPSSPP.
