The actual launcher is first and the second the game's in-game image, with their own menu system. Speaking about the Linux release, they said: We are extremely excited to share today with the whole Minecraft community that the Badlion Client is now live on Linux! OC CITIES Over the past few months our development team has been working hard to complete the final parts of Linux support. This includes fixing the compatibility problems we discussed in our announcement post about Linux last year. Just in the nick of time for BLC 3.1, the development team was able complete the Linux support. We just want to take a moment to thank the Linux community for your continued patience with our team over the past few months. We understand that we were not unfortunately in a position to release the Linux version by the end of 2020, as we had planned, but we hope you are excited nevertheless to play with the most feature-rich Minecraft version for free! It is available here. It's available as an AppImage, so it should be compatible with all Linux distributions. Website: https://occities.org/
