  3. I'll step you through the process so you can save money as well. You can also check out my YouTube video in which I describe my experience. The bottom line is do your homework - don't fear - and save money! And in my case I was able to get a better tire that was not available in my local area. This tire was rated the best SUV and Light Truck tire and it was cheaper than lesser rated tires but that is the subject of another article.

  5. Another way to repair a flat tire on an ATV that has a large sidewall tear would be to go down to your local tire shop and have them install a think sidewall patch called a boot. Use one that is strong and flexible enough to repair large sidewall puncture. Also, you will need to install an inner tube in your ATV's wheel. This will be your back-up in case the boot patch didn't hold. Don't try to save a few dollars by not putting in the boot patch because the inner tube will find its was out of the hole and break. It might cost a few dollars to do this type of repair but when it comes down to it, this is cheaper then buying a new ATV tire. Best of all it works.

  7. When this happens the tire is either replaced with a new one or the old one is repaired depending on the damage. If the tire is too damaged it is scrapped and sent for recycling.

  9. Before going further you need to make sure that you have the proper tools to change your tire if you do ever have a flat tire. Don't forget to check the condition of your spare tire. If you don't have a spare you'll want to keep a 12 volt air pump and a can of fix-a-flat (you cannot patch a tire that has fix-a-flat in it) in your vehicle.

  11. You can also check with local repair shops that sell used golf cart tires near me. These places will likely only take the tires if they are in good shape, but most repair shops know how to repair flat tires and make them usable again. Before you begin negotiating a price, visit the shop to find out what they typically sell a similar sized used tire for, and use that number as your negotiating point.

  13. Using a "$10 Off Brake Service" online coupon plus a "$20 Off Any" coupon, can also save from 50% to almost 60% on brake service. used tire shops near me and labor at the import dealership was $375 versus only $187 after coupons at the tire store. That's a savings of $188 or 50%. Rear pads and labor was $375 but only $156 after coupons at the tire discount store. That's a savings of about 60% or almost $220 back in your pocket.

  15. Having the wrong model will make repair jobs much more difficult if not impossible and will take more time. If you do not know what kind of tool you need, speak to a service agent at your local auto parts store to get the correct information.
