  1.  Greetings everyone. My name is Stefan and welcome to the ultimate guide to stellaris in this video series. I hope to cover everything guys need to know: do you pick up the game start playing and start dominating and even if you do know quite a bit about this game already, I really do recommend you check out this entire series, because there are quite a few Tidbits that I'll be throwing in that even experienced players may find new anyways. Today'S video is going to be part 1 of 10 and is going to be the introduction to this whole series person. For almost let me introduce the game stellaris if you're not familiar with it. Basically, what you do in this game. https://www.techtricksclub.net/best-laptop-cooling-pad/ create an umpire you go out conquer the galaxy and enslave everyone now alternately? You can also do this in a more diplomatic matter. There'S a new expansion coming out called Federation's that actually allows you to federate and become a very close to all those. As you know, empires, however, that is not the place to hell that I'll be showing off today, and indeed that is not the place to elleven. I normally play so. Instead we will focus on conquering and dominance. Today'S topic is gon na be Empire creation. So let's jump right into that and now, of course you don't have to go ahead and create your own a customised Empire. Instead, you can go ahead and select one of the preset empires such as the united nations, birth commonwealth of man, sin empire, etc, etc. For the purposes of this video series I'll be using the commonwealth of man, however, i do want to show you guys how to edit this to be optimal and potentially more unique to your play style. As you can see here, there are quite a few characteristics to this empire, but the most important ones to cover our traits origins and ethics. Everything else is pretty much fluff, but these three things are the ones that will really determine the way you play. You want to be selecting these three things in this order. First origins, then government event traits your empires. Origin is going to be the most unique aspect of your empire, and especially once you accumulate more DLCs, you will have up to twenty-something options. I believe, but the first three they're available in the base game are just prosperous unification. You, like doorstep, lost colony, they're, pretty self-explanatory, in this case we're gon na be playing with lost colony and showing the bonuses with a VAT. Now that we've chosen our origin, let's go to our government ethics and, as you can see here, there's a little ethics wheel. You have three points to spend and you can either make a choice of a fanatic and a normal ethic, or you can choose three ethics that are just normal in our situation will be going with militarist antoinette xenophobe so that we can destroy the xenos once it For all your authority does not really matter, although I usually prefer to go dictatorial and as far as your civics go, there are quite a few options now to make this whole thing easier. I have created a nice little civics tearless that you do want to check out in the top right corner or potentially in the description, there's a big beautiful image of all the civics in the game listed according to their rank and relative power. Right as I released this video, the civics tearless will be very slightly outdated over. I will update it within a week and post the updated link in the top right corner and in the description please do check that out. After you have decided on your origin and your ethics and civics, you can go ahead and choose your traits traits, provide a straight up bonus to your population and are completely up to you. If your empire will focus primarily on minerals and industrial production, you may want to go industrious or agrarian if you're focused on farms, etc, etc. There is a tier list for that also in the top right corner, but do keep in mind that the traits are more flexible than civics anyways. Now that we have our Commonwealth of man, you can go ahead and select our game settings as far as the game settings go. You will probably want to keep these all at default. As the game starts. However, you might want to crank up the difficulty a little bit as time goes on and what this does is. It basically gives bonuses to all the different ai's and does not give any bonuses to you. Yeah, however, is not particularly good. It has been improved in 2.6, so all the bonuses are now gon na directly translate into effective firepower for the AI. Eventually, as https://www.techtricksclub.net/best-laptop-for-drawing/ play, you will be able to be even grant Admiral a I'm and Grand Admiral AI gets plus 100 percent to everything other than this there's also an Ironman mode setting. This allows you to get achievements for the game. However, I personally would recommend you keep this off at all times. I'M mo well disabled freely, saving and if we really loading to any other save, and so, if you make a mistake, you cannot reload in the early stage of the game when you're just learning you do want to be able to reload and try different things in The same situation, that is exactly how you learn, and that is exactly what I do personally in my single-player games. It'S not safes. Coming, it's really learning and trying out different things. You can save scum for different orangy related events, but I really would not recommend you do so anyways, let's start the game, and let me introduce you to the order in which this series will cover things person. For most. We will start off by talking about expansion. Colonization and managing your internal economy, those are going to be covered extensively in the first few videos of that series, so please do go ahead and check them out other than that we'll be covering technology and unity, and once we're done with that, we'll be able to Cover aspects such as the admin kappa / empire, sprawl thing - that is absolutely new, 22.6 and foreign diplomacy, which is going to be divided into a piece and war. You can do quite a bit more diplomacy in this update than you were able to do before, but war war is, of course, always going to be the final answer to any problem, so you do want to be able to do war and solve problems that way, If you are interested in the series, please go ahead and subscribe to this channel I'll, be releasing the two of these videos per day and by the end of this week you will have all the knowledge necessary to become a pro at stellaris anyways thank y'all for Watching and I'll see you guys in the next one which is gon na, be about expansion, bye, bye,
