  1. **The Beginning**
  2. In the beginning there was Bahamut, the Omnipotent Creator God.
  3.
  4. He created the World - Crimson Horizon. He also created Skydwellers, Otherworlders, and the elements.
  5.
  6. To help him govern the world, Bahamut created two Speakers: the Dawn Speaker Helel Ben Sahar (Lucio), the Dusk Speaker Helel Ben Shalem and the 6D wedges. Sahar would act as an intermediary between Skydweller and God, and guide Skydwellers toward Bahamut's world plan, while Shalem would find and purge any elements in Creation that went against God's will.
  7.
  8. Eventually, ancient Skydwellers rose up in rebellion against Bahamut, and the rebellion caused Bahamut to split into two halves.
  9.
  10. One half, the Sky God, inherited Bahamut's powers over destruction and rebirth. The other half, the Star God, inherited Bahamut's powers over unbridled creation.
  11.
  12. The Otherworlders invaded the Crimson Horizon, and God lifted the Skydwellers into the air, aka the Sky Realm. He also sealed off the Crimson Horizon from the surface with a dimensional boundary.
  13.
  14. The Star God chose to leave the Sky Realm and instead create the Astral Realm and the Astrals.
  15.
  16. In doing so the Star God chose to use the Sky Realm and Skydwellers as a template, copying places and people from the Skies. As a consequence, each original Astral is a mirror of a being who lived in the Sky Realm ages ago. Most significantly, this includes the Speakers, who were mirrored as Lucilius (clone of Helel Ben Sahar) and Beelzebub (clone of Helel Ben Shalem). Astrals are generally independent of their source individuals, but may retain a subconscious link to their memories and knowledge. In this way, Lucilius created Lucifer, influenced by his subconscious memory of Lucio.
  17.
  18. Each half of God desires to reunite with itself as the dominant force, and as such both Gods are in eternal conflict. The Star God drove the Astrals to invade and conquer the Sky Realm, subduing the Sky God and converting it into a Primal Beast in the process. The Sky God split Vyrn from itself both as a last-ditch effort to save itself, and also as a means to siphon power from the Star God. Vyrn siphons power by taking X. Similarly, the Star God imbued Lyria with its power in order to siphon power from the Sky God. Lyria siphons power by taking Y.
  19.
  20. Whoever is able to siphon enough SkyDweller/Astral energy from the other will become the dominant half if they were to ever reunite. However, this is something many parties, including Otherworlders, Astrals, and even Lucio himself seek to avoid.
