  1.  I was surfing with a friend recently and he left the comment that his surfboard was beginning to have waterlogged. I really couldn't find any visible harm to his plank, therefore I asked him to reveal the damage. I was surprised to know it had been merely several very tiny dings. Really just very small holes much larger than you might make by puncturing the surfboard, state with your own pencil. It will not work on larger cracks or larger holeswere just talking about small punctures. Any dings larger than 50% of the size of a cent are overly high for Sun Cure to get the job done.
  2.  My friend had not mended these small holes because he thought it would mean carrying the surfboard in to the browse shop to have it repaired. He'd afterward be with no surfboard to get a few days or simply he had been only too darned economical to really have the surf-board repaired.
  3.  There is a really easy to use product on the market to repair small dings on your surfboard. It's really simple, you really can't mess up a repair using this substance, and also the bonus is that it doesn't actually cost ten dollars. It is called Sun Cure and one tube of the material is enough to complete about 10 small ding fixes. After we ended surfing this afternoon , we stopped at at the SURFSHOP in Dominical Costa Rica and he bought a tube.
  4.  On the ride home, he had been asking me just how to complete the repair and he was convinced I was leaving out something. A day later he showed me how the surfboard and has been laughing because it had been really simple.
  5.  Here are the steps to simple fix using Sun Cure:
  6.  Ensure you are in a shady, ventilated area. The colour is therefore that the wax on your own surfboard will not melt while you are doing so repair. Additionally, you can't do this on each day if it's raining, however you're still able to do it in an over cast day, sunlight Heal only takes more to dry.
  7.
  8.  Gently sand the area that you need to repair. If a ding isn't large, then go easy here since you truly don't need to utilize more than is necessary to fill out the gap.
  9.  Once you've softly sanded the area, wash it clean with a clean dry cloth. Be sure that the repair area is fully dry before you begin.
  10.  Find a wooden Popsicle stick to apply the Sun Heal (or some thing different you don't mind throwing away when your finished ). You do not need to combine this, so it's ready to go out of the tube. Open up the tube of Sun Cure and put a tiny dab on the pole. Only spread Sunlight Cure in the hole. Attempt to make it as smooth as you possibly can eliminate sanding as it's tender.
  11.  Carry your surfboard out in to the sun and angle the surf-board so that the area you wish to harden is facing in the direction of the sun.
  12.  Set a towel down over the remainder of your surfboard and provided that you never forget to come get your surfboard in a few minutes, your wax will still be fine in your surfboard.
  13.  If it's a bright day the Sun Cure will probably be hard in just five minutes. If it's partial sun you give it 6 to 8 minutes also whether it's a cloudy day provide it 10 to 20 minutes.
  14.  Once it's hardened, simply take your surfboard from the sun and it is ready to get a light sanding to get it nice and smooth. If you don't try so part, there are usually hard little bits that stickup. I was in a hurry and did not bother sanding it down. The repair had been along one of those railings along with the whole semester that I had been out, I kept hitting on my hands on this small sharp bulge. Take https://witchrotate63.doodlekit.com/blog/entry/14923265/want-to-know-how-to-surf-10-things-you-need-to-know-before-you-start to lightly sand your repair down once it's done healing in sunlight.
  15.  That is it, you and your surfboard are ready to hit the beach, unless ofcourse you went and did something else while it had been drying in the sun and forgot about it. If that happened you will have turn out to see a more soggy, waxy mess in your own surfboard. Now you'll need to bring the step of clearing the mess and apply a fresh coat of wax to your surfboard. Take my advice, as soon as you've put your surfboard out in sunlight don't go doing something else while it's drying, don't even answer your phone.
