  1. Don't buy an auto part just because it is cheapest. It is not frugal to have to repair again soon after the initial repair. It is a waste of time and money. Many times you want good quality for safety too. Did you know that many of the stores will beat their competitors on price. You tell them the lowest price quoted and ask if they can beat it.Therefore, they will usually work with you. When I am getting prices from a dealer, like Ford for example, I always ask them if that is the best they can do. They always come down on price too. They even vary from dealership to dealership in the same county, no kidding. THEY WANT YOUR BUSINESS.... THEY WANT YOUR MONEY...

  5. Men and Woman have their different activities that they enjoy. Men love cars, it's a hobby that brings them great enjoyment. The enjoyment may come in the form of cleaning the car or buying new auto parts and at times, even just sitting in the vehicle. A woman should respect her mans addiction of cars just as she would want her man to value her love of shopping.

  7. Use your creativity, make something out it. Don't say that this is only for artistic person; everyone can create something out of a piece of crap. We've witnessed that some people would even make use toilet bowls in making a flower pot, and then why not use auto parts instead. Build a masterpiece out of a couple of junks from machines to car batteries, into a work of art such as metal sculptures. They who knows, some collectors would even pay you for what you've than, and you'll end up earning from this craps.

  9. Carb Up and Dress For Success: Get ready for a physically demanding experience. Make sure you rest up and carb up before the sale. If you plan on moving large items around, make sure you have help and that everyone exercises great care to prevent any injuries. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

  11. 2) The junk yard. While you might think you are above visiting a junk yard albuquerque, are you above saving a lot of money? Probably not. A quick stop in at the local junk yard might save you a lot of money compared to a new air filter. And, even better, this ties directly into point #1. A friend of my, Robert, needed an auto part so he looked online and found a junk yard . The junk yard shipped him a part that was almost new and he couldn't have been happier. Just cause an air filter is used, doesn't mean it's very used!

  13. Take the Car Battery out from under the hood... Car batteries contain lead, which is what is known as, a non-ferrous metal that means it contains no iron. Most scrap yards will not allow you to sell your car to them with a battery in it anyway, however you can sell the car battery separately for more money, if you know where to go, these usually bring between $8.00-$15.00 apiece.

  15. Even though there may be plenty of used parts available in your city, you may not know where to look. Used parts shops and recyclers that sell them are popularly known as junk yards, salvage yards, wrecking yards as well as auto recyclers. So all you need to do is search for such places in your locality by using newspapers or the internet.
