It's something I've learned through trial and error. My mom was on my shoulder all week, telling me to prepare this and to keep that in mind. I only told her my excitement of going on my first ever camping trip with my children and grandkids. I had a beautiful backdrop for the trees to view the tiny projector I took along for great big-screen effect movies - no Internet to connect to Hulu and no Netflix and no Disney+.. What a mess.. My kids were simply unbearable. They wanted to check their email, check their texts or school-related issues. We packed up our bags and returned as I could not bear the thought any more. My children made sounds that resembled to little piglets munching delicious food as they emerged from the WiFi-free zone. I am truly grateful for my children. That was just embarrassing. They groaned and squealed when their phones began to beep, announcing new text messages.
Since then, I have learned to be more prepared and to not get stuck in an area that is internet-free without any roaming. But this one time we went on a long cruise to our destination, there I needed my new best friends with me - two tablets and a laptops stuffed with Hulu offline videos on one tablet, Netflix films and TV shows on the second, and the laptop is loaded with music videos, music and huge movies I've downloaded to later watching with both Hulu and Netflix apps, which are available on the Windows apps store. I've got about 600 hours of material to watch that include the full Will & Grace, Friends and South Park seasons and added episodes.
For my kids, I have a collection of videos with funny things, I downloaded a few music videos from Youtube, converted some to mp3 and mp4 format to watch or listen. I made use of this online application to download a few videos. It allows me to save the video on my laptop so that I can then view it offline, if there is electricity. I DVR a variety of TV Shows, Movies, and Online Lectures. These videos I save as MP4 format on my laptop. After that, I play them with VLC, KMP, or almost any other video format which supports 4K.
Another thing that I insist on is 4k. Have you ever watched? The video is amazing. I would highly recommend. Televisions that support 4K image have amazing software in them that processes that picture and improves it, upscales it. Although the original video might not be good, with its blocky, squarish recording, the TV makes it look amazing and offers a modern, smooth video flow. Highly recommended to everyone, girls and boys alike.
