  1.  Okay, hello, hi uh, my name is Matthew Lodi and today I'm going to be teaching you how to fix an Asus Transformer tablet, but actually from what I hear online. All Asus tablets have this issue, not just the transformer, and they make a lot of the windows-based tablets. Those those uh double sided tablets. So this right here is my Asus Transformer 100. It'S an older tablet, but apparently what's the issue is when it comes to charging. If you use the wrong plug, because this connection is just a standard microUSB or if you connect the power in a house, it has kind of fluctuating power levels like my older house here, you'll get it to actually trip the battery in the inside so that it Will no longer charge and then you'll get to the point where you plug it in you get to charge like, but you're not actually charging it all and it won't go anywhere, and it actually resulted in me buying this one after I figured out how to fix It, but so if they do have an Isis or have this problem, this should be able to help you out there's pretty low-tech solution. Basically, the Asus, like every other tablet, has a plastic shell backing that's containing all of its guts on the opposite side of the screen. What you do is with a simple little butter knife like this. You can find the part where the metal and the plastic meet and then slowly separate it and work your way around. This one has already been done mostly through I'm all the way onto this side. So I'll just finish it off here and if you can see what I'm doing is I'm swiping the knife around the edges and just slowly and softly churning it about it about an eighth of a turn around just to try to pop the little snaps that are On the inside again, most of these already been done, so it should just snap right off here now I will say this fix does take a little bit of bravery. Considering these things aren't cheap, necessarily and a little mistake could possibly completely ruin this device, but considering it's not charging and otherwise you'd have to buy a new one. This is kind of a last resort type of thing. So the other thing too, is you want to make sure that you don't have anything that could be static. Electricity charge because touching the board will fry the entire thing. So you want to try to avoid the actual board mechanisms, but if I can get you to do kind of zoom in right here, this is actually the battery pack and this little plug here is the battery pack to the actual motherboard. So once we disconnect this and leave it disconnected for a few seconds, it will actually reset the battery in a way that will allow to rear echod NIH's being charged and we plug it in again. So what you want to do is just slowly with you could use a fork or a little flat-head screwdriver, but you want to back this component out slowly and there it's already loose and you want to fully disconnect it. So once it's fully disconnected like, I said, just give it a little bit of time. The device will know that it's been separating and reset the battery pack. Apparently that will allow to pick up charge once we're done with this. So that's been about enough time. You then just want to work it back into a little socket there. You don't have a lot of wire to work with so and make sure it's really snug with your fingernail tip, so there we're pretty much back to normal. Again, I don't want to touch any of the circuit boards here, because it could cause a much larger issue, but this part will go back on no screws or anything like that. It'S just going to snap back in you can tell right here. These are the three grooves that align with the keyboard, of course, and that's on this side too, so you really can't put it on backwards. You won't allow you to, and you put it on just a little bit of firm pressure here. The little plastic snaps grab hold again, and so that's done you're ready to get charging and and use your tablet again and again, like I said, those are the ports there that actually connect to the keyboard attachment. Now this one wasn't working if this works I'll be able to upload this video. Otherwise, https://www.techtricksclub.net/best-high-mileage-oil/ won't because this is actually the tablet I used to post these type of videos so we'll find out here if you've seen this video, it worked long story short again. These are for the Asus tablet, I'm not sure. If video any other tablets are known to have this error again, you have to be a little brave to mess with it, but sometimes when your only other option is to throw it away anyways, you might want to take the extra step and try to do something With it, thank you
