  6. A. Teams are encouraged to use the Free Practice sessions to prepare for the races. To this end, every driver’s practice time will be tracked.

  8. B. Any driver who does not complete at least 1 hour of lapping at pace in Free Practice for a race, will be placed on probation for that race.

  10. C. If a driver who is on probation is deemed responsible for an incident, the penalty time will be doubled if the original penalty is category 2 or 3 and is a time penalty (see section 10.1). This multiplier does not apply to driver Penalty Points.

  14. 5.4 Qualifying
  15. A. The driver who qualifies the car must start the race.

Unless the car has not yet left pit lane during its session, a car's qualifying session will be concluded if a car has been towed back to the pits for any reason, including towing in the pit lane. Cars are allowed to be driven back to the pits and to take service. Cars may be reset if they are in their pit box.

  23. A. During race sessions, towing back to the pits without first notifying RC is forbidden.

  25. B. If a car is no longer able to make it back to the pits, the driver must pull over to the side of the track into an area where in real life marshals would be able to recover the car safely. Once the driver has reached such an area, the team must notify Race Control using the !tow command in their team’s text channel.

  28. 8.5 Pit Lane
  29. A. It is illegal to circumvent in any way the pit lane speed limit, including but not limited to not using the pit speed limiter and manipulating gears while travelling down pit lane. Any driver found at fault will be issued a 60 second Stop & Hold penalty for Unsportsmanlike Conduct, and will be suspended for the next IVRA event they are a participant in.

  31. B. When entering and exiting their pit stall, drivers have five seconds to travel to and from the fast lane. In the Drivers Briefing, based on the pit speed limit at the track, an approximate distance will be listed which could be used with a digital spotter software to provide the call to the driver to start to enter the pit box.
