- Summary:
- The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering is seeking to appoint a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)
- Associate to work on the development of power electronics converters and control techniques for permanent magnet linear
- generators.
- As a KTP Associate, the successful candidate will be located at the offices of Libertine Holdings PLC based in Sheffield. The
- KTP Associate will be a highly motivated individual with a good understanding of electrical machines and electromagnetic
- devices, as well as excellent modelling and data analytic skills. They will work very closely with engineers from Libertine
- Holdings PLC. This will also include the implementation and documentation of the developed models and their validation on
- purpose-built prototypes, while also taking a lead role in the project, managing their own workload and ensuring a seamless
- technology transfer from the University of Sheffield to Libertine Holdings PLC.
- In addition, the post provides a £3,000 budget for personal and professional development for the successful candidate. The
- role will be an ideal opportunity to undertake cutting-edge research and development within an industrial context.
