  2. -Came up with potential idea a platformer creature raising game similar to SA2B Chao's
  3.         -Basic Premise:
  4.                 -Platformer to get fruit
  5.                 -Give fruit to creature

  7. -Gathered some art assests to use and drew up some potential creature designs
  8. -Base Platformer player code gotten from previous code made before Jam

  29. -made a personalized ground tileset I am liking
  30.         -Spent way to long fiddling with autotile 3x3 and then settling for 2x2
  31.         -made variation of tileset for floating platforms
  32. -started on camera to follow player instead of static
  33.         -camera is in "zones" and will move when hitting edge of screen
  34. -Messed with pet AI and made him jump up edges if it were to run into them
  35.         -pet stops when player is near
  36.         -added interaction with player with animation

  90. -Egg sucks into nest when close
  91. -Egg hatches into slime
  92. -Fixed slime behaviors that got broken by changing egg checking systems
  93. -fixed egg being able to be stuck and unreacable in wall
  94. -fixed slime falling while in nest hatching then boucing into space... hopefully
  95. -fixed slime being a glutten and stealing fruit off the tree
  96. -other general bugs getting squashed and visuals fixed
  97. -added extra player animation
  98. -added spikes for the player to die on
  99. -player can die now
  100. -waypoint system in place to player is not dead forever
  101. -added 2nd tree
  102. -fixed grabbing and slime eating to work with multiple fruits

  141. -fixed fruit growing instantly after first grow
  142. -Added Fruit 4 which is neutral on evo rates but feeds 2

  158. -Woke up refreshed, it was a nice rainy morning
  159. -Tried to find a crash in friends test, but could not be recreated on my end
  160. -fixed fruit pickup being strange
  161. -fixed collision on certain type of floor causing sound and visual bug
  162. -changed some code here and there to update it and hopefully prevent crashes
  163. -Started doing art and thought of a super fun polish idea I can hopefully implement
  164. -Just a lot of pets art

  169. - Implemented Magi pet, with special animations that made me add some extra code
  170. - fixed a small camera following issue
  171. - learned how to upload to itch.io
  172. - Every pet is now in the game with all thier animations
  173. - Spent so much time making saving a thing, almost got it

  177. -Woke up and immediately fixed issues I was having with the save/load system
  178. -Made a pause menu with access to save feature and can retun to title screen
  179. -fixed any wonkyness with loading player, pet, and camera
  180. -made ending cutscene that returns to main menu after
  181. -BASE GAME FINALLY FINISHED WOHOOOO LETS GOOOOO

  195. -made main scene and particles preload so the overall experience is smoother
  196. -made an option menu for the music
  197. -made all menus operable with keyboard controls

  201. -preloaded some effects and main scene to have smoother experience
  202. -Started on an evolution menu to show pets you have seen
  203.         -designed background
  204.         -pets put on background
  205.         -covered pets
  206.         -zoom in on pets by clicking on them
  207.         -background for background so on zoom it still looks nice
  208. -option menu and evolution menu now have a seperate save of player info for settings and which pets they have had when they save
  209. -tried to fix up some transition issues but no luck
  210. -put some keys out to friends and family to try and get some feedback

  214. -Transition issues fixed, there is now a loading screen between scenes
  215. -added animation to the loading screen
  216. -changed a bit of level design to be smoother
  217. -Fixed many transition issues with the new screen but now all working better then before
  218. -added some more checks to hopefully prevent some issues that popped up rarely
  219. -improved ending scene a bit

  223. -Added indication for fruits and players behind walls
  224. -More small adjustments here and there for clarity
  225. -Put some extra rocks, flowers, and murals around for more decoration
